This new lathe from Delta was designed with feedback from woodturners. It has a best in class12-1/2" swing and a patented quick-change belt tensioning system that eliminates guesswork and belt slippage. The 46-460 has a 1hp variable speed motor with reversing. Reversing helps with getting better sanding results. There are three speed ranges with a slowest speed of 250 rpm which is better than any other benchtop lathe on the market. The top speed of the 46-460 is 4,000 rpm.

Standard Equipment includes: 6" Tool Rest, 3" Faceplate, 6" and 10" Toolrests, Spur Center, Live Center, Knock-out Rod, Handwheel, 24 Position Indexing, and Wrench.
