Powermatic developed this new lathe with feedback from professional woodturners. It is extremely heavy duty and will satisfy the needs of almost any woodturner. The sliding headstock features a 3HP motor and 98-position indexing and digital speed read out. An integrated vacuum system allows you to hold workpieces without leaving screw holes. The vacuum system works with an air compressor (not included). Also included are two 100w task lights, four 110v outlets and a remote switch that can be positioned anywhere on the lathe. The electronic variable speed allows for speeds between 40 and 3500 rpm with three speed ranges for plenty of power when needed.

Standard equipment includes: knockout bar, 14" tool rest, 3" faceplate, live tail center, 2 task lights, remote switch, 3HP motor, air hose with air gun and instruction manual.
