This foot switch will allow you to turn your lathe (or other machine) on or off while keeping both hands free. This is safer if you are turning in a position that makes it hard to reach the switch. The Foot Switch comes with an eight foot cord and will work on any 115V motor up to 15 AMPS. No extra wiring is needed. All you do is plug the Switch into your outlet, then plug your lathe into socket provided on the plug. Step on the switch to start the machine and when you lift your foot the lathe stops. This foot switch is UL listed.
