Comes with a 12" Aluminum handle.

The Detail Spindle Gouge was designed to have a shallow flute and swept back grind that allows for tight cuts and details and makes this gouge well suited for intricate detail work.

These tools by Carter and Son hold an edge up to 3 times longer than M42 high speed steel alone thanks to the addition of 10% Cobalt. They come hand polished and sharpened so they are ready to use.

Please note: Gouges are sized by the diameter of steel used.

Comes with a 12" interchangable Aluminum handle and a 3/8" adapter.
Blade measures 3/8” outside diameter x 8” overall
Flute measures 4-3/4”
