Side Grinding Jig

A. After a suggestion by a customer from Arizona, we designed the Side Grind Jig to make easy work of making and maintaining a side grind on any deep fluted bowl gouge. The Side Grind Jig will automatically center deep gouges from 3/8” to 3/4” in diameter. Even a novice, with a little practice, will be able to achieve a consistent sharp edge quickly and easily. The jig comes set to the proper angle and is designed to be used with the V-Arm attachment of the Wolverine Sharpening System, or with a similar type of fixture made by the user. The Tool Angle Sample (figure B, item number: 148802) can provide a valuable reference for setting up the Side Grind Jig.
