Australian Birdseye Eucalypbus (Eucalyptus globulus) is also called Blue Gum and grows in Tasmania and Southern Australia. It is also widely cultivated in plantations located in sub tropical regions. The heartwood is a light yellowish brown and is figured with a birdseye pattern. The grain has a medium to coarse texture and a low natural luster. It glues and finishes well. Our pen blanks measure 3/4" square and vary in length from 5"-6". This listing is for a single pen blank but we also sell this wood in packs of 5.
