Padauk (Pterocarpus soyauxil) is an exotic wood that grows in West Africa. Fresh cut, it has a rich, vivid reddish-orange huge and ages to a bright red or coral pink with black streaks. It is similar to walnut in density and workability. Our pen blanks measure 3/4" square and ranges from 5" to 6" in length. They are sold in packs of 5.
