Once centered on the drill bit, this vise will automatically center pen blanks up to 1-3/4" square. The differing size of the blanks is compensated for by the vise so the hole is always in the center without repositioning the vise. The vise can also be used for drilling other projects and small pieces of wood. The jaws of the vise are made of aluminum.
