Comes with 12" Aluminum handle.

These tools by Carter and Son hold an edge up to 3 times longer than M42 high speed steel alone thanks to the addition of 10% Cobalt. They come hand polished and sharpened so they are ready to use.

Please note: Gouges are sized by the diameter of steel used.

Includes a 12" Aluminum Handle and 3/8" adapter
V’ shape flute, fingernail grind at 50º
Blade measures 3/8” outside diameter x 10” overall
Flute length measures 6”
Superior M42 high speed steel with a 10% cobalt content, for unparalleled edge holding
Triple tempered for better edge holding and toughness
Tools are held securely in handles with two set screws
Extra long tool shanks have flats to control tool rotation and vibration
