Burmese Blackwood (Dalbergia cultrata) is also known as Khamphi Rosewood and Laos Rosewood. It grows in Southeast Asia and the heartwood ranges from an olive or reddish brown to a dark purplish brown. It is a hard, oily wood that turns, carves, and polishes well. Our pen blanks measure 3/4" square and are between 5" and 6" in length. They are sold in packs of 5.
