Robust Universal Hub With Built-in Adaptor

The Universal Hub is machined from solid 6061 aluminum and includes an integral rotary adapter. The Universal Adaptor is used to build your own vacuum chuck or vacuum faceplate (more pictures coming soon).

The built in rotary adaptor consists of two precision sealed bearings and a stainless steel hose barb that we also machine.  You will attach a piece of tubing (included) to the barb that will run through the spindle hole of your lathe, providing the hole is bigger than .4″ or about 10mm.  The tube from your vacuum pump will then attach to this tubing.

The Universal Adaptor is threaded 1-1/4″ x 8 TPI and comes with a Tommy-bar for removal.  Holes are pre-drilled in the flange for attaching your components. Your holding force will be affected by your design and surface area under vacuum.
