SKU: VAC-PUMP Oilless Vacuum Pump

This 4CFM oil-less vacuum pump is imported from Asia.  Robust tested 5 different imported pumps and this one came out on top.  This pump is rated at 4CM, which is more than enough for any woodturning vacuum chucking operation, and has enough capacity to make up for some minor leaks in your system or because of porous wood.  It runs quiet and smooth compared to some other pumps, and unlike vacuum generators, you don’t need to listen to a noisy compressor.  The switch for the pump is located in the 6′ cord.

This pump is rated at 27″ of mercury at sea level.  As your elevation increases this number will decrease slightly.  Most purple should get between 17-25” which is great for woodturners. This selection is for the pump only.  

There is a hardware kit available, and you can also buy a complete turn-key system from us. 

We do not advise using a pump that uses oil because of fumes and the inconvenience of having to get oil for it.
