SKU: Vac-3-25-A Robust 3-1/4” Vac. Chuck w/ Rotary Adaptor

The Robust 3-1/4″ Vacuum Chuck with Rotary Adaptor is machined from solid 6061 Aluminum. The flexible polymer seal has multiple sealing ridges to give a positive hold on the project.  The chuck is threaded for 1-1/4″ x 8 TPI lathe spindles only and comes with a Tommy-bar for removal. With a vacuum of 20-25″ of mercury, this chuck should provide approximately 65 to 85 lbs. of holding force. This size is great for little boxes and bowls, small hollow forms and spheres.

This chuck includes a Rotary Adaptor and tube to go through the spindle. The built in rotary adapter consists of two precision sealed bearings and a stainless steel hose barb. You will attach a piece of tubing (included) to the barb that will run through the spindle hole of your lathe, providing the hole is bigger than .4″ or about 10mm.  The tube from your vacuum pump will then attach to this tubing.
