These extended jaws are designed to act like a pin chuck by expanding into a pre-bored hole. This is an especially useful technique for smaller free natural edge bowls. Their advantage over Pin Chucks is that you don't have to bore an exact size hole. Any size between the minimum and just under the maximum expansion will do. They have longer jaws allow for a very powerful grip on dowels and projects like lace bobbins and delicate pots. The Pin Jaws also have a dovetail to mount small bowls. The jaws are 1" deep.
Grips: 7/16" to 1-1/4" and Expands: 1-1/16" to 1-3/4"
